Kneeling changes you

KNEELING CHANGES YOU

Not many people kneel anymore, especially when it is uncomfortable. When the pews have no kneeler, or if in a hall with no kneelers, people will prefer to stand or sit.

Much more in open spaces or grass or cement. We have become comfortable in showing our faith. So when it becomes uncomfortable, we choose the easy path.

During the MFC Canada conference, there was an Exposition, and we ended up kneeling on cement for a long time (or seemed like it).

I could feel my knees in pain. And then followed by the back of my thighs. Lower back. Then shaking of my legs. Numbness of feet. Back pain.

Kneeling changes you. Especially when uncomfortable. The pain is definitely not comparable to Jesus’ pain, but it reminds us of it. How can we complain over a few minutes of pain and inconvenience.

We should not go for the comfortable, because if we do that, we will end up doing nothing.
